After about 1 km, take the federal highway B307 shortly after the end of the village Reitrain and keep right again to continue straight ahead for about 100 meters, then turn right to the particularly marked drive way at the forest's outskirts (1.8 km gravel road with 9% accending slope) towards Castle Ringberg.
During winter time we highly recommend to use mandatory winter tyres or even winter chains since weather changes may offer an enourmous amount of fresh snow in a short period of time.
